Mission
Our mission is to join with you in prayer. As Jesus teaches us: "For where two or
three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matt
18:20
Submit the name of a loved one that has gone to their Eternal Rest, and we will
add their name to our daily prayer roster.
Or if you have a prayer intention, send it to us, either my email or through regular
mail, and we will add it to our daily prayers. Together we will flood heaven with
our prayers, and our prayers will rise before God like the finest of incense.
Your email address/mailing address will not be sold, rented, or given away. We
understand the problems of spam, junk mail, and the scariness of theft. Joining
with you in prayer is our only goal.

Prayer of St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas of Tolentine is the patron of the Holy Souls in Purgatory. His feast day
is celebrated on September 10th and is generally only celebrated by Augustinians.
St. Nicholas spent countless hours in prayer and penances not only for the Holy
Souls, but also for those that would come to him for confession.
He is most famous for his vision of the Holy Souls:
One Saturday night, while in bed, Nicholas heard the voice of a recently deceased
Friar, who Nicholas had known personally. The Friar revealed that he was in
Purgatory and begged Nicholas to offer Mass for him and the many others
suffering that they might be freed from their sorrow. Upon waking Nicholas
received permission from his Prior, and offered Mass for them all that week. At the
of the week the Friar returned and thanked Nicholas for all that he had done and
assured him that a great number of those Nicholas had seen in the vision were
now enjoying the presence of God.
Today we honor St Nicholas and ask his intercession for all the Holy Souls in
Purgatory.. He like all the Saints, adds his prayers to ours, and our prayers rise up
like fine incense to our Lord and God.
